Metro Vancouver Housing Corporation is a not-for-profit organization that provides affordable rental housing for low- and middle- income households in Metro Vancouver. Some of their older complexes needed some TLC so Blast Radius and Academy spent an afternoon to help. Some of the activities included setting up a community garden, cleaning a playground area, and re-painting fences.
We had a great time working together outside in the sun and were rewarded when the children came out to play on their freshly cleaned playground.
It felt good to give.
